BioUse three words to describe your character's personality: Persistent, inquisitive, enthusiastic
Describe what their special powers/talents are: While Dib has no actual powers, he's good at operating technology, conducting investigations of the paranormal, and taking abuse.
Bio: Ever since Dib was very young, he had a profound interest in the paranormal, most especially aliens. He claims that, as a baby, aliens beamed him up onto their yellow train to make him some sort of genius super baby. This story is unconfirmed. What we do know is that Dib grew up with his father, the famous Professor Membrane, and his terrifying sister, Gaz. Professor Membrane was not home very often, too busy with running his show "Probing the Membrane of Science" and other scientific pursuits to pay much attention to his children. In fact, Dib and Gaz only get to spend one night out with the professor a year.
The upside to having a scientist for a father is access to high tech gadgets and gizmos, however. Dib occasionally utilizes these while conducting his paranormal investigations. More often than not, these investigations revolve around proving the weird, green skinned kid, ZIM, is an alien. No one believes Dib about this, despite the fact that ZIM's disguise is paper thin and never acts all that much like a human, anyway. The kids in his class call him crazy for his beliefs and mock him ruthlessly. Actually, everyone thinks he's insane, even adults; even his own father. The professor disapproves of Dib's "paranormal science" and encourages his son to get into "REAL SCIENCE!". Gaz isn't any better, despite the fact that she knows that ZIM is an alien, and pretty much just tells Dib to shut up and leave her alone whenever he starts going on about this fact.
The only people that don't think he's crazy are the members of a the secretive group called "The Swollen Eyeball Network", of which Dib is also a member. He has received help from the organization on at least one occasion, when Agent Darkbooty sent him off on a rocket to the butt of Mercury. From there on, it was up to Dib to pilot Mercury and stop ZIM (piloting Mars) from squishing out all life on Earth. This wasn't the first time that he's saved lives, although perhaps not on such a grand scale. Once, he saved a bus-full of his ungrateful classmates from the room with the moose. At a later time, he also teamed up with ZIM to save the Earth from another alien named Tak. This incident also had the unanticipated consequence of Dib getting his own spaceship (formally Tak's).
Overall, Dib constantly takes it upon himself to be Earth's protector and would like nothing more to see it safe and sound. ...And also to have ZIM dissected. This fact leads to understandable animosity between the little alien invader and Dib.
In addition, Dib has a really big head, but denies it.
